HEROIC Cybersecurity (HEROIC.com) is looking for an experienced Senior Web Application Developer with strong skills working with Wordpress, PHP, Laravel, and/or other PHP Frameworks, to join our growing team. As a Senior Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for helping to drive the development of our marketing related websites.
The right candidate will possess senior level Wordpress and PHP experience with a well-rounded software development background. We expect this position to spend their time in the following manner: 80% coding, 10% architecting, and 10% team communication.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Manage company related marketing websites which are mainly built in Wordpress
- Build Landing Pages and impelment A/B testing to improve conversions
- Implement Search Engine Optimization best practices along with managing analytics
- Security Testing
- Work closely with management and our development team to implement our software solutions
- Take ownership in the management and development of HEROIC’s software applications, and technical environments.
- Research and evaluate third-party solutions to integrate into the HEROIC platform.
- Assist with all other HEROIC projects and Development needs
- Continually be learning and increasing your development capabilities
- Architect, Manage and devlop custom code and Wordpress Plugins
- Work with and implement API's
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent English communication skills
- Technology degree or technology related work experience
- PHP experience, with a background in Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- 3+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, Javascript, Git, Jira, API development, and Amazon web services.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience securing software applications or working in the cybersecurity field preferred.
