HEROIC Cybersecurity (HEROIC.com) is looking for a Senior Javascript Application Developer to build and manage HEROIC’s Desktop and Mobile applications using cross-platform HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as Ionic, Electron, React and React Native. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of sophisticated cybersecurity solutions for multiple desktop, mobile, and browser platforms. The right candidate will possess a well-rounded software development background with proven experience. We expect this position to spend their time in the following manner: 70% coding, 20% architecting, 10% communication with other developers, designers, and management.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Oversee all aspects of the software development lifecycle with regards to HEROIC’s desktop and mobile applications including requirements analysis, project documentation, infrastructure management, quality assurance, security auditing, and maintenance.
- Build cross-platform mobile apps that compile natively from a single codebase.
- Architecting software applications, database systems, and infrastructure for scale
- Research and evaluate third-party solutions to integrate into the HEROIC platform.
- Work with management to develop platform strategies and multi-year technology road maps
- Oversee and help manage project schedules and milestones
QUALIFICATIONS:
- IT-related degree and/or at least 5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with some of the following technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, Linux, Python, Go, Angular, React.
- Hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle, agile and scrum experience desired.
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be able to take high-level directives and lead the effort of developing start-to-finish project plans based on internal project management framework & lifecycle processes.
- Experience securing software applications or working in the cybersecurity field preferred.
LOCATION: Remote - Work from wherever you please! Your home, the beach, our offices, etc. Although the majority of this position is remote, You may be required to travel periodically, attend business meetings, conferences or meet with the team in person.
