HEROIC Cybersecurity (HEROIC.com) is seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through the implementation of automated testing processes. If you are passionate about software testing, possess strong technical skills, and have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Newman to ensure the quality of our software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to define test scenarios and automate test cases.
- Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and report any issues or defects found during the testing process.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to provide testing insights and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Continuously improve and optimize the automation testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in Selenium and Newman for developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in the context of software testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools for integrating automated tests into the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Software testing certification, such as ISTQB, is a plus.
